STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (4-7-0) was unable to light the lamp in a 3-0 home loss to St. Norbert (10-2-0) on Thursday.

Anne Beck (Grandville, Mich./Grandville) made nine saves in the first period as the teams skated to a scoreless first frame. Both teams had nine shots on goal in the first.
The Green Knights broke the tie at 5:19 of the second period. SNC doubled its lead at the 10:09 mark of the second period. Beck had 10 more saves in the period to keep UWSP close.
St. Norbert got the only goal of the third period at 14:43 to push the UWSP deficit to 3-0. Beck made 10 more saves in the third period to total 29 in the game.
The Pointers fired 21 shots on SNC goaltender Brynn Waisman to no avail.
Katie Stanius (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake) led UWSP with four shots on goal.
Courtney Leising (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) and
Sara Aadalen (Wayzata, Minn./Wayzata) had three each.
UWSP concludes the 2023 calendar slate on Friday (Dec. 8) at home against Augsburg. Puck drop at K.B. Willett Arena is set for 7:00 p.m.
