WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team (6-7-1, 3-1-0) seized the opportunity to notch its first away victory with a massive 3-1 win at UW-Whitewater (5-6-3, 1-2-1) on Saturday.
Jessica Camarato (DeForest, Wis./DeForest Area) scored her first goal of the season to give UWSP a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. The lead last just over a minute as UWW tied the match in the sixth minute.
Senior
Gina Wasniewski (Ironton, Minn./Brainerd) scored her first of the year in the 35th minute, the eventual match-winner.
In the 66th minute,
Gabby Dunn (Dallas, Texas/Bishop Lynch) added to her team-leading total with her seventh of the season to put UWSP ahead, 3-1.

Jessica Nigbur (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee) earned the victory with four saves in the match. UWW keeper Jude Dobrinska made three saves.
The Pointers travel to UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday (Oct. 18) for a 7:00 p.m. match, the final conference road game of the regular season.
