STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's basketball schedule for the 2022-23 season has been announced. UWSP will play 11 home games on Bennett Court in Quandt Fieldhouse this season.

The Pointers will open the season at home on Nov. 9 against St. Olaf. The teams have played in UWSP's season opener each of the last five full seasons with the Pointers winning two of the last three matchups.
 
After three road games, the Pointers return home to face Wisconsin Lutheran on Nov. 22 at 7:00 p.m. Another three-game road trip follows, including consecutive away contests to open league play.
 
UWSP will be home for the final two times in non-conference play on Dec. 8 against Trine and again on Dec. 17 versus UW-Superior. Both games tip off at 7:00 p.m. The calendar year closes with UWSP playing two games in Texas.
 
Following the turn of the calendar, the Pointers entertain UW-Whitewater (Jan. 4) and UW-La Crosse (Jan. 7) in consecutive home games. UWSP will host three more league foes in January with UW-Eau Claire (Jan. 14), UW-Platteville (Jan. 21) and UW-Stout (Jan. 25) paying a visit to Stevens Point.
 
UWSP begins February with consecutive road games, but return for home tilts against UW-River Falls (Feb. 8) and wrap up the regular season at home versus UW-Oshkosh (Feb. 15).
 
The Pointers reached the WIAC Tournament quarterfinals a season ago after a thrilling last-second win at UW-Stout in the opening round. Jake Buchanan (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), Zach Mootz (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) and Brennan Timm (West Bend, Wis./West) all averaged more than seven points a game and return for the Pointers.
