Johnny Johnson announced the completion of his team's 2022-23 schedule. The Pointers will host five events, including the annual Pointer Open and the 2023 WIAC Championships.

UWSP opens the season with consecutive home events beginning with a league dual versus UW-Eau Claire on Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. Four days later, the Pointer Open takes center stage in the Multi-Activity Center beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Back-to-back road events close out November with the Pointers heading to Michigan and Mequon.
On Dec. 1, the Pointers return home to face another league foe with a dual versus UW-Oshkosh at 7:00 p.m. A trip to Iowa and to conference rival UW-Platteville follow to wrap up the calendar year.
UWSP begins 2023 in Illinois before the final home dual on Jan. 19. against Carthage at 6:00 p.m. The remainder of the regular season will see the Pointers on the road alternating conference duals with larger events.
The WIAC Championships come back to Stevens Point on Feb. 11. Action begins at 9:00 a.m. in Quandt Fieldhouse that day with 10 individuals and a team championship awarded.
The Pointers went 8-4 in dual action last season. Seniors
Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) and
Ben Gunderson (Shiocton, Wis./Shiocton) lead a group of experienced returners for UWSP in 2022-23.
