GENEVA, Ohio – UW-Stevens Point senior Blake Orr (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) just missed his second All-American honor of the week with a ninth-place finish in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Orr reached a distance of 55.81 meters (183' 1") on his fourth attempt. The distance matches his season-best throw from the Eagle Open on May 13.
 
Orr's All-American accolade in the discus throw earlier in the week was the first by a discus thrower since 2002 and he is just the third UWSP male to nab All-American honors in the discus throw.
