SPOONER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team won the four-team Yellowjacket Invitational on Wednesday. Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) won the individual title with teammate Andrea Tietz (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) just one shot back.

Top UWSP Individual: Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) won the one-day tournament with an 84.
Notables: Teammate Andrea Tietz (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) shot a career-low round of 85 to take second. Megan Bonikowske (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) and Jenny Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) were also in the top-10 among individuals.

Top Team: UWSP edged out St. Scholastica by three strokes, 356-359.
Top Individual: UWSP's Downie took top honors with Tietz one stroke back.
