STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team wrapped up its home slate with wins over St. Norbert and Carroll on Saturday to extend the team record for wins in a season to 22. UWSP beats SNC, 8-1, to begin the day and capped off the day with a 7-2 win over Carroll.

Kaylee Woelfel (Plymouth,Wis/Plymouth) took home a win in her final home match with an 8-5 doubles victory at No. 2 with partner
Grace Henes (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) versus Carroll. Henes also won at No. 5 singles, 7-6, 6-4, against the Pioneers.
Barbara Covek (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) rallied from a 5-0 deficit to earn a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles against Carroll. She also got a No. 1 double win against SNC, 8-3, with partner
Chloe Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska). Leithold won at No. 2 singles against the Pioneers, 6-2, 6-2.
Abigail Ashley (Green Bay, Wis./Bay Port) won at No. 1 singles against St. Norbert, her first career match at the top singles spot, 6-2, 6-4. At No. 1 singles against Carroll,
Faith Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) won a super-breaker, 10-5, after splitting 6-4 sets.
Jordan Scharf (Wauwatosa, Wis./West) and
Laura Traver (Jefferson, Wis. /Jefferson) paired up at No. 3 doubles going 2-0 on the day by a combined 16-1 score.
The Pointers travel to Whitewater on Saturday (April 30) for the WIAC Team Championship beginning at 12:00 p.m. against host UW-Whitewater.
