BRISTOL, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team finished 10th out of 14 teams at the Firebird Spring Invitational hosted by Carthage.

Top UWSP Individual: Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) paced the Pointers with a 32nd-place finish. Claire Tomczik (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) was one stroke back in a tie for 33rd.
Notables: Jenny Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) and Megan Bonikowske (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) trimmed 11 and 12 strokes, respectively, off their first round scores.

Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Aurora had three of the top-7 individuals to win by 37 strokes over UW-Whitewater.
Top Individual: Aurora's Kallie Sakamoto shot a 159 to win by six strokes.
