WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – UW-Stevens Point's Nick Chesterman (Sun Prairie, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) finished 10th in the heptathlon following day two action at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Chesterman placed 10th after accumulating 4781 points. On Saturday, he competed in three events, the 60-meter hurdles, the pole vault and the 1000-meter run.  His best finish came in the 60-meter hurdles where his time of 8.70 was good for eighth.
 
The UW-Stevens Point tack and field teams will now take a few week off before opening outdoor season on April 2 at the Pioneer Open in Platteville.
