OSHKOSH, Wis. – The No. 15 UW-Stevens Point volleyball team (25-6) are headed to the WIAC Championship match after a five-set win at No. 6 UW-Oshkosh. The Pointers rallied from down a set twice and snapped UWO's 18-match win streak to advance to UWSP's seventh title match appearance.

Newly minted WIAC Offensive Player of the Year Ashley Kopp (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) posted her 23rd double-double of the year and led all players with 26 kills. She added 28 digs, her third double-double with at least 20 kills and digs.

A seesaw first set saw the Pointers take a 12-10 lead following an Erin Gillen (Richfield, Wis./Slinger) ace. Following a 4-0 burst by the Titans, a Melanie Meyer (Bloomington, Minn./Thomas Jefferson) kill pulled UWSP even at 17-17. Kopp and Olivia Paukner (Prairie Du Sac, Wis./Sauk Prairie) combined for a block to make it 22-22. The Pointers got a kill from Megan Schroder (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) to thwart set point and Kopp served an ace to knot the set at 24-all. Meyer gave UWSP set point with another kill, but the Titan reeled off three-straight for a 27-25 win.
