DE PERE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (4-3-1) dropped a 5-0 game at St. Norbert (7-1-2) on Tuesday.
The host Green Knights scored twice within a minute late in the first period to put UWSP behind 2-0 after one.
UWSP goaltender
Olivia Schultz (Maplewood, Minn./Tartan) kept the Pointers within two until the 12:34 mark of the third. SNC added two empty-net goals later to put the game out of reach.
Schultz made 32 saves for the Pointers. SNC goaltender Brynn Waisman had 23 saves.
Courtney Leising (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) led UWSP with four shots.
Maike Zipp (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac) added three with five other Pointers at two shots each.
UWSP will next be in action at home on Dec. 3 with a home contest against Northland. Puck drop is set for 2:00 p.m.
