REEDSBURG, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team is tied for fourth place after the second round of the WIAC Championships with 352 shots today to total 694 (+118) shots in the tournament. The Pointers are only five shots out of third place.

Notables: Katie Downie is only one shot behind Marshall with 171 shots in the tournament to be tied for 14
th.
Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) is another shot behind with 172 shots after a round of 87 today.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Whitewater has taken the lead in the tournament after shooting a 328 today to total 657, only two shots ahead of the second-place team.
Top Individual: Lexi Meade of Eau Claire has taken the lead after a round of 78 today. She is two shots ahead of the second-place golfers.
Up next: UWSP will compete in day three of the WIAC Championship tomorrow (Oct. 9). Tee time has been moved back to 9:30 a.m.
