WHITEWATER, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's track and field team took third at the Women's Whitewater Invitational on Saturday. 
 
Results
 
UWSP's Nick Chesterman (Sun Prairie, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) ran away with the heptathlon that he led going into Saturday's action. He finished with a score of 4792, a 489 point margin of victory over the runner-up.
 
For the women, Leyna Herzog (Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) won the 200-meter dash in a time of 25.99. She also teamed up wth Esme Reinders (Eau Claire, Wis./Regis), Ashley Bartelt (Hartford, Wis./Hartford Union) and Ashley Spatz (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) to take second in the 4x400-meter relay clocking in at 4:13.56.
 
Rachel Krouse (Milwaukee, Wis./Wauwatosa West) placed first in the 3000-meter run. Her time was 10:22.92.
 
Taylor Fuerstenberg (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton) finish in second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.43. Also taking second was Chrissy Hughes (Milton, Wis./Milton) in the 60-meter hurdle with a time of 9.41.
 
UWSP returns home to host the Big Dawg Invite on Saturday.  Action in the Multi-Activity enter begins at 10:30 a.m.
