Fond du Lac, Wis. – With multiple Pointers placing in the top 15 individually, the UW-Stevens Point women's golf team stands in first after the opening round of the Marian University Invite. Bree Downie (Hortonville, Wis./Hortonville) is in second, shooting a total of 87 on the day, nine strokes from first.

Top Team: UW-Stevens Point leads with a dominating score of 371. St. Norbert College comes in second with a score of 386.
Top Individual: Ali Wilson of Lakeland University has the lowest individual score of the tournament shooting 79.
