ONALASKA, Wis. – Out of the 10 teams that played in the UW-La Crosse Golf Invite, the UW Stevens Point women's golf team finished ninth. The Pointers shot a total of 388 as Andrea Tietz (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) finished in a team high of 28th place.

Notable: Jenny Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) finishes 40th shooting 98 on the day.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Augustana College won the invite shooting a total of 327 over the host UW La Crosse who shot 329
Top Individual: UW-Platteville's Markie Ash and AC's Avery Frick tied on top with a total of 79 strokes each. 
Up next: The Pointers will stay in La Crosse for the Viterbo Invite. Tee time set for 10:30 a.m. on Sunday (Sept 12).
