STEVENS POINT, Wis. – For the second time in as many outings, the UW-Stevens Point women's tennis team (5-1, 2-1) posted a 9-0 win over a league foe. On Saturday, the opponent was UW-River Falls (0-6, 0-3).
Barbara Covek (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) again needed a super tiebreaker to secure the No. 1 singles victory. She dropped the first set, 6-1, before rebounding for a 6-2 win in set two. Then in the super tiebreaker, she earned the win, 10-7.

Jenna Koepp (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles. The duo of Covek and Koepp won at No. 1 doubles, 8-3.
Faith Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) won her no. 3 singles by a 6-1, 6-2 final. She teamed with sister
Chloe Leithold (Onalaska, Wis./Onalaska) to locked down an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles.
Kaitlyn Hess (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln) continued to turn in solid play with another win at No. 4 singles. She posted a 6-2, 6-0 win. With their 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles, Hess and
Grace Henes (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) improved to 4-0 as a doubles pairing and have not lost a point.
Leah Hollander (Portage, Wis./Portage) earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles.
Anna Dobbe (La Crosse, Wis./Onalaska Luther) completed the sweep with a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles.
The Pointers travel to Whitewater to face the Warhawks on Wednesday (April 14) at 3:30 p.m.
