STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point men's wrestling team dropped both duals at home on Friday by scores of 30-12 to UW-Eau Claire and 36-7 to UW-Oshkosh.
 
Matt Berlin (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) continued to shine for the Pointers winning both matches at 133 on the day.  He won by third period fall against UWEC.  Berlin won a major decision against UWO.
 
Colin Barker (Davis, Ill./Dakota) earned a 10-5 decision win against the Blugolds.  Luke Smiley (Plainfield, Ill./North) also won by decision, 4-3, at 157 to conclude UWSP's scoring in the dual.
 
Brandon Peckham (Plainfield, Wis./Tri-County) joined Berlin in the win column against the Titans.  He was victorious at 165 by a 7-1 decision.
 
The Pointers close out the season at UW-La Crosse on Friday (Feb. 19). Start time is slated for 6:00 p.m.
