DE PERE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (3-6-0) fell at St. Norbert (8-2-0) by a 3-2 final in overtime on Tuesday in non-conference action.
UWSP's
Ashtyn Wiltscheck (Sleepy Eye, Minn./New Ulm) opened the scoring with her second of the season at 17:53 of the first period.
Mary Kremer (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead Warhawks) had the assist, her second in as many games.
Midway through the second period, the Green Knights scored to even the game at 1-1.
Nicole Neuberger (Minnetrista, Minn./Orono) put the Pointers back in front at 14:00 of the second with her third of the year and second against SNC this season.
Bella Moskonas (Greenfield, Wis.) picked up her second assist in as many games.
Again the Green Knights pulled even scoring at 4:41 of the third. The game remained tied and head to three-on-three overtime. SNC netted the game-winner 20 seconds in to the extra session.
UWSP goaltender
Olivia Schultz (Maplewood, Minn./Tartan) made 48 saves. SNC goaltender Brynn Waisman had 21.
The Pointers return to league play on Dec. 4 at Northland. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m.
