REEDSBURG, Wis. – After the conclusion of day two of the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's), the UW-Stevens Point women's golf team remains in seventh carding 356, seven above their first-round score. The Pointers are four strokes from sixth with a total of 705 on the tournament so far.

Jenny Marshall (Stoughton, Wis./Stoughton) is tied for 38th as she drops three strokes to card an 88 on the round.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Whitewater takes the lead over UW-Eau Claire after a commanding second round score of 311, dropping 12 strokes from their first-round score which placed them in third. UWEC drops to second tied with UW-Stout.
Top Individual: Abbey Filipiak of UW-Stout is shooting a consistent 76 on her round to put her in first with a score of 152.
Up next: The Pointers are back in action tomorrow, Sunday (Oct 10.) as they stay in Reedsburg for the final day of the WIAC Championships. Tee time is at 8:30 a.m.
