Kremer Has Another Multi-Point Game in Tie at CSS

DULUTH, Minn. – Sophomore Mary Kremer (Sussex, Wis./Arrowhead Warhawks) racked up her third multi-point game of 2020 as the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (7-4-3) skated to a 2-2 tie at St. Scholastica (4-6-1) on Friday.

Kremer opened the scoring at 7:08 of the first period.  Sophie Regovic (Naperville, Ill./Chicago Mission) added an assist, her third point in the last two games.

The Pointers lead doubled to 2-0 as Kremer assisted on Kiley Hahner's (Wausau, Wis./West) goal.  The goal increased Hahner's point streak to four-straight games to begin 2020.

The Saints scored on the power play early in the second period to cut UWSP's lead in half.  CSS completed the comeback with another power-play tally in the third period.  UWSP killed off a penalty in overtime to secure the tie.

Olivia Schultz (Maplewood, Minn./Tartan) made 30 saves for the Pointers.  CSS goaltender Lori Huseby made 19 saves.

The Pointers and Saints close out the weekend series in Duluth on Saturday (Jan. 11) at 5:00 p.m.
