SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team's unbeaten streak came to an end on Saturday in a 4-0 loss at St. Thomas (1-1-1).
The Tommies got on the board in the first minute of play with a go-ahead goal just 36 seconds into the game.
The Pointers (3-1-1) held the deficit at just one until the third period. At 11:27, UST took a 2-0 lead. Later in the third, another goal made it 3-0 and the Tommies completed the scoring with an empty-net goal in the final minute.

Olivia Schultz (Maplewood, Minn./Tartan) made 39 saves in the game. UST goalie Erin Cooley recorded 23 saves for the shutout.
The Pointers remain on the road and open league play on Friday (Nov. 15) at UW-River Falls. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
