Kiley Hahner (Wausau, Wis./West) recorded her first career points with a goal and an assist as the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team (4-2-1) earned a 2-0 win at St. Norbert (0-3-0) in non-conference action on Tuesday.
Hahner assisted on
Alex Grubbs' (Minong, Wis./Spooner) goal with 43 seconds left in the first period to put UWSP ahead.
Sophie Regovic (Naperville, Ill./Chicago Mission) also had an assist on the eventual game-winning goal.
In the second period, it was Hahner putting the puck in the net for her first career goal. Emma Bertiaume assisted on the goal at 18:09 of the period.
Sophomore goaltender
Olivia Schultz (Maplewood, Minn./Tartan) made 35 saves, including 18 in the third period, to earn the shutout. SNC goaltender Anais Aurard made 26 saves.
The Pointers travel to Superior for a conference game against the Yellowjackets on Saturday (Nov. 23). The puck drops at 2:00 p.m.
