STEVENS POINT, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team knocked 10 strokes off its first round score, but remained in sixth place through the final day of the Mad Dawg Invite.

UWSP: Sixth out of eight teams
Top UWSP Individual: Bailey Ryan (De Pere, Wis./) and Brooke Tuszka (Plover, Wis./SPASH) tied for 23rd with a total score of 178.
Notables: Tuszka dropped eight strokes on her second round score to move up nine places.
Claire Tomczik (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest) shot a second round 89, tying Ryan for the second best day two score for UWSP.
Grace Eide (Osseo,Wis./Osseao-Fairchild),
Ginny Yahnke (Sparta,Wis./Sparta) and
Lizabeth Rynders (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) also lowered their day two scores.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Oshkosh won with a score of 646, eight shots better than UW-Stout.
Top Individual: UWO's Hannah Braun carded a 77 to win the individual title by one stroke.
Up next: The Pointers travel to Reedsburg for the WIAC Championship beginning on Friday (Oct. 5).
