FOND DU LAC, Wis.- The UW-Stevens Point Women's Golf team grabbed a second-place finish at the Marian University Invite on Saturday.  Freshman Brooke Tuszka (Plover, Wis./SPASH) led the Pointers as she tied for a second-place finish with a score of 83.

UWSP: 2nd out of a seven team field.
Top UWSP Individual: Brooke Tuszka (Plover, Wis./SPASH) chopped a score of 83 for a second-place finish.
Notables:  Jackie Halverson (West Bend, Wis./West Bend West) shot an 85 to tie for fifth
            Ashley Nickel (Stevens Point,Wis./SPASH) finished ninth with a score of 89.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: Lake Forest College won with a total score of 337. 
Top Individual: Cece Cruz of Lake Forest College won with a score of 82.  
 
Up Next: The Pointers travel to Cottage Grove, Wis. for the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite of Sept. 22 and 23.
