Pointers Succeed with Competitions at Three Meets on Saturday

The UW-Stevens Point track and field teams split squads sending student-athletes to the Drake Relays, St. Norbert Quadrangular Invite and UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative Invite on Saturday.  At St. Norbert, the men won the invite out of eight teams with a score of 150, while the women finish in fourth with a score of 95. 
 
Drake Relays (Results)
Nico Labracke (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc), Evan Torgerson (Weston, Wis./D.C. Everest), Nick Lawson (Madison, Wis./West) and Alex Egbert (La Crosse, Wis./Aquinas) clocked in a time of 10:05.36 in the distance medley relay, good for a sixth-place finish. 
 
The quartet of Bailey Wolf (Oconto Falls, Wis./Oconto Falls), Leah Trempe (Combined Locks, Wis./Kimberly), Michelle Petkovsek (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) and Emily Schlebecker (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) finished in 10th place in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:23.54. 
 
St. Norbert Quad Invite (Results)
Vincent Jolliffe (Wausau, Wis./East) won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.97.  He also combined with Se'Kon Stephens (Milwaukee, Wis./Menomonee Falls), Dominick Cappadora (Granton, Wis./Neilsville) and Lucas Lee (Merrill, Wis./Merrill) to win the 4x100-meter relay with a combined time of 43.90. 
 
Brent Reierson (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) won the shot put with a distance of 15.42 meters (50' 7").  Teammates Dylan Delaney (Sauk Prairie, Wis./Sauk Prairie) and Logan Garski (Rosholt, Wis./Rosholt) went five-six with distances of 14.27 meters (46' 9") and 13.76 meters (45' 1"). 
 
Tylar Kohnke (North Fond du Lac, Wis./Horace Mann) won the javelin throw with a distance of 51.58 meters (169' 2").  Michael Logalbo (Monico, Wis./Crandon) and Reierson went three-four with distances of 46.86 meters (153' 8") and 46.77 meters (153' 5"). 
 
Logan Garski (Rosholt, Wis./Rosholt), Isaiah Yaroch, Caleb Rheinschmidt (Nekoosa, Wis./Nekoosa), Dylan Delaney (Sauk Prairie, Wis./Sauk Prairie) and Blake Orr (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) dominated the top five spots of the hammer throw.  They threw distances of 49.49 meters (162' 4"), 47.65 meters (156' 3"), 47.48 meters (155' 9"), 47.41 meters (155' 6") and 46.51 meters (152' 7"). 
 
Noah Schulze (Land O' Lakes, Wis./Northland Pines) paced his way to a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter run.  He clocked in a time of 16:04.28.  Nathan Loeffler (Wilmot, Wis./Wilmot) followed in seventh with a time of 18:14.20. 
 
Damontae Dewitt (Gilmanton, Wis./Gilmanton) finished in third place in the high jump.  He cleared the bar at 1.68 meters (5' 6"). 
 
Reierson, Kyle Nowak (Stratford, Wis./Stratford) and Orr went three-four-five in the discus throw.  The trio propelled the disc to distances of 44.91 meters (147 4"), 44.84 meters (147' 1") and 42.21 meters (138' 5"). 
 
Stephans placed third in the long jump with a distance of 6.37 meters (20' 10"). 
 
Sam Welch (Manawa, Wis./Manawa) finished in fourth place in the 400-meter dash.  He crossed the finish line with a time of 51.46. 
 
Lee tabbed a fifth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.32.  
 
Nick Chesterman (Sun Prairie, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) placed fifth in the pole vault clearing the bar at a height of 3.25 meters (10' 7").
 
On the women's side, Anna Hogan (Omro, Wis./Omro) won the high jump.  She cleared the bar at a height of 1.55 meters (5' 1").  She also won the triple jump with a distance of 10.97 meters (35' 11").  
 
Angela Breunig (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) finished in a first place tie in the pole vault.  The senior vaulter cleared the bar at a height of 3.07 meters (10' .8"). 
 
Karen Wethal (Evansville, Wis./Evansville) finished in second place in the discus throw.  She propelled the disc to a distance of 44.54 meters (146' 1").  She also earned a third-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 12.84 meters (42' 1"). 
 
Larkin Hoepner (Eau Claire, Wis./North) threw a distance of 48.57 meters (159' 4") in the hammer throw, good for a third-place finish. 
 
Tatiana Sotka (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) tabbed a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.92.  She also earned a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.27.  
 
Bailey Boudreau (Wausau, Wis./East), Amanda Cieslinski (West Allis, Wis./Central) and Zoe Bartishofski (Wausau, Wis./East) went four-five-six in the 5,000-meter run.  The distance runner trio earned times of 21:18.78, 21:26.62 and 22:37.62. 
 
Briana Simonis (Rosholt, Wis./Rosholt) and Makenzie Ward (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) earned fourth- and fifth-place finishes in the long jump.  The pair soared to distances of 4.98 meters (16' .33") and 4.94 meters (16' 2"). 
 
Ellen Peterson (Menomonie, Wis./Menomonie) ran to a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter dash.  She clocked in a time of 2:30.88. 
 
Rebecca Alter (Trevor, Wis./Wilmot) earned a seventh-place finish in 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.03.
 
UW-Whitewater Invite (Results)
Jared Schrang (Oconomowoc, Wis./Oconomowoc) finished in fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles.  He hurdled his way to a time of 15.13. 
 
Quinn Brownell (Pewaukee, Wis./Pewaukee) finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.44. 
 
Axel Treinen (Wausau, Wis./East), Bret Hilliard (Morton. Ill./Morton) and Josh Schaefer (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East) went seven-eight-nine in the 1,500-meter run.  The distance runner trio earned times of 4:07.64, 4:09.12 and 4:09.19.  
 
Casey Olson (Madison, Wis./West) earned an eighth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.  He earned a time of 10:17.60. 
 
Caitlin Falk (Mayville, Wis./Mayville) earned a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.56. 
 
Sam Ritter (Prescott, Wis./Prescott) finished in seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.24. 
 
Georgia Harrison (West Bend, Wis./East) paced her way to a 10th-place finish in the 1,500-meter run.  She finished with a time of 4:58.06.
 
The Pointers travel to River Falls, Wis., for the WIAC Championships hosted by UW-River Falls on May 4 and 5.
