ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The UW-Stevens Point women's track and field team traveled to Rock Island, Ill., for the Augie Invite. UWSP finished in fourth among the 13-team field with a total event score of 92.

Day One Multis
Adrienne Lewis (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) won the long jump. She leaped her way to a distance of 5.37 meters (17' 7.75").
Kara Hoier (New London, Wis./New London) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The senior distance runner earned a time of 11:43.14. Teammate
Georgia Harrison (West Bend, Wis./East) followed in sixth place with a time of 12:09.68.
Brooke Wellhausen (Williams Bay, Wis./Big Foot) and
Michelle Petkovsek (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) went one-two in the 800-meter dash. The duo ran times of 2:15.66 and 2:15.89. Teammate
Emily Schlebecker (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) came in fourth with a time of 2:18.02.
Sylviann Momont (Auburndale, Wis./Auburndale) finished in second place in the heptathlon. She finished with a score of 2,674.
Angela Breunig (Watertown, Wis./Watertown) finished in second in the pole vault. The senior vaulter cleared the bar at a
height of 3.52 meters (11' 6.50").
Larkin Hoepner (Eau Claire, Wis./North) took fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 48.01 meters (157' 6").
Karen Wethal (Evansville, Wis./Evansville) earned a fourth-place finish in the shot put. The junior threw a distance of 12.67 meters (41' 7"). She also picked up a fifth-place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 45.11 meters (148' 0").
Wellhausen,
Hannah Mertens (West Bend, Wis./Hartford Union),
Makani Peters (Stevens Point, Wis./SPASH) and
Leah Trempe (Combined Locks, Wis./Kimberly) teamed up for the 4x400-meter relay. The quartet finished in fifth place with a time of 3:57.45.
Bailey Wolf (Oconto Falls, Wis./Oconto Falls) paced her way to a fifth-place finish in the 1,500-meter run. She crossed the finish line with a time of 4:54.34.
Lewis also teamed up with
Alexandria Schaub (Peoria, Ill./Dunlap),
Lydia Ulrich (Lake Mills, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) and
Tatiana Sotka (Waupaca, Wis./Waupaca) running the final leg of the 4x100-meter relay to earn a sixth-place finish. The quartet ran a time of 49.85.
Mertens finished in seventh place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.13.
Schaub powered her way to an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter dash. She clocked in a time of 12.87.
Mada Laundrie (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly) placed 12th in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 40:44.54.
The Pointers men's team is in action on Saturday (April 21) competing in the Meet of Champions in Rock Island, Ill.
