MENOMONIE, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's basketball team (12-11, 6-6) outscored the UW-Stout Blue Devils (7-16, 0-12) by 20 points in the second half to secure a 77-55 win in Menomonie on Saturday.
Carly Cerrato (De Pere, Wis./De Pere) went 5-for-5 from three-point range and led a quartet of Pointers in double figures with 18 points. She added four rebounds and two assists.

Taylor Barrett (Monroe, Wis./Monroe),
Lexi Roland (New London, Wis./New London) and
Mickey Roland (New London, Wis./New London) also tacked on double figures with 14, 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Mickey Roland (New London, Wis./New London) had a team-high seven rebounds with Barrett and
Lexi Roland (New London, Wis./New London) each snagging six.
Lexi Roland (New London, Wis./New London) nailed a three to open the game and
Mickey Roland (New London, Wis./New London) made it 5-0 Pointers early. UW-Stout tied the game at 7-7 and the teams exchanged points until the Blue Devils scored in the closing seconds to take a 16-14 edge after one.
Cerrato opened the second quarter with two threes in the first two minutes as UWSP regained the lead at 22-18. She nailed another three later in the quarter and Barrett put UWSP up by a 35-33 score at the half.
Kellan Schmidt (Edgerton, Wis./Edgerton) and Barrett combined for UWSP's first six points of the third quarter, but UW-Stout stayed close.
Brooke Geier (Kewaunee, Wis./Kewaunee) completed a personal five-point run for UWSP to give the Pointers the lead for good at the 3:11 mark.
Lexi Roland (New London, Wis./New London) completed an and-1 to give UWSP a five-point lead heading to the fourth.
Mickey Roland (New London, Wis./New London) scored the first four points of the final period as the lead grew to nine. At the midpoint of the quarter, Cerrato hit consecutive threes to extend the lead to 17 and put the game away.
The Pointers travel to UW-Oshkosh for the final regular season road game on Wednesday (Feb. 14). Tip-off against the Titans is slated for 7:00 p.m.
