REEDSBURG, Wis. - The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team concluded day three of the WIAC Championships with a sixth-place finish and a three-day score of 1,069, concluding the 2018 fall action.

The Basics
Tournament: WIAC Championships 
Location: Reedsburg Country Club, Reedsburg, Wis.  
UWSP: The Pointers finished in sixth out of eight teams. 
Top UWSP Individual: Brooke Tuszka (Plover, Wis./SPASH) finished in 29th with a score of 262. 
Notables: Bailey Ryan (De Pere, Wis./) trimmed five strokes off her day two score on day three. 
            Ashley Nickel (Stevens Point,Wis./SPASH) trimmed two strokes off her second round score and lowered her score each round of the championship.
 
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Whitewater won with a three-day score of 942.  
Top Individual: UW-Oshkosh Hannah Braun shot a final round 74, the lowest of the championships, and won with a three-day score of 228 defeating defending champion Ashley Hofmeister by one stroke.  
 
Up Next: The Pointers will resume action in the spring of 2019.
