MADISON, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point women's golf team capped off day two of the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite and moved up a spot to 12th out of 17 teams.

 Tournament: UW-Whitewater Fall Invite
 Location: Blackhawk Country Club, Madison, Wis.
 UWSP:  12th out of 17 teams. 
 Top UWSP Individual: Bailey Ryan (De Pere, Wis./) finished in a tie for 30^th, with a two-day score of 182. 
 Notable: Jackie Halverson (West Bend, Wis./West Bend West) and Jalyn LaBine (Crandon, Wis./Crandon) improved by three and eight strokes, respectively, on day two.
 
Tournament Highlights
 Top Team: Host team UW-Whitewater won by 45 strokes. 
 Top Individual: Ashley Hofmeister of UW-Whitewater won by nine strokes. 
 
The Pointers return home to host the Mad Dawg Invite at the Stevens Point Country Club, starting on Sept. 30.
