STEVENS POINT, Wis. - No. 10 UW-Stevens Point men's hockey tallied a pair of goals to rally for a 2-2 tie with UW-Superior Saturday night at K.B. Willett Arena.

In the first period, Daniel Litchke scored to give UW-Superior (3-7-2, 1-0-1 WIAC) at 1-0 advantage over UW-Stevens Point (7-3-2, 1-0-1 WIAC) 14:16 into the contest.

Midway through the second period, Ian Eckland extended the Yellowjackets lead scoring off assists from Tanner Skaja and Pavel Mikhasenok.

Down by a pair in the second period, freshman
Colin Raver (Bartlett, IL) scored a power-play goal to start the Pointers offensive rally. Raver's goal put the Pointers within striking distance entering the final period.

With 1:54 remaining in regulation UWSPÂ pulled senior goaltender
Max Milosek (Lapeer, MI/) for an extra attacker, allowing
Tanner Karty (Oklahoma City, OK/) to put home a loose puck in front of the net to even the game.

The UWSP penalty kill unit warded off all three of UW-Superior's power plays, including a five-minute major early in the second period and a minor that carried 1:53 into overtime.

Milosek made 19 saves for the Pointers.

UW-Stevens Point will take on Concordia (Wis.) on Friday Dec. 8 at K.B. Willett Arena for the annual Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears donated will benefit Operation Bootstrap. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
