Colin Raver (Bartlett, IL) extended the Pointers lead 3:25 into the final period off an assist by Tanner Karty (Oklahoma City, OK/) to keep the Pointers offense rolling.

At the 14:10 mark of the third period UWSP captain Willem Nong-Lambert (Des Moines, Iowa/) netted his fifth goal of the season, giving UWSP a 5-1 advantage.

Just 1:47 later, Carter Roo (Champlin, MN) capped the UWSP scoring being set up by Kelly O'Brien (Detroit, MI/).

In the first period, Peter Kavaros scored to give UWRF an early advantage that would be short-lived following the second period UWSP scoring breakout.
