Tournament: Mad Dawg Invite
Location: Stevens Point Country Club, Stevens Point, Wis.
UWSP: 13th out of 13 teams.
Top UWSP Individual: Junior
Jackie Halverson (West Bend, Wis./West Bend West) tied for 47th as the top UWSP individual with a two-round score of 187.
Notable: All five UWSP golfers improved by two or more strokes on day two.
Bailey Ryan (De Pere, Wis./) and
Lizabeth Rynders (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) dropped five strokes each on day two.
Tournament Highlights
Top Team: UW-Stout held on for the team win, edging UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater by three strokes.
Top Individual: Ashley Hofmeister of UWW took the individual title with a 155, two strokes better than the field.
The Pointers head to Reedsburg for the WIAC Championship beginning on Friday (Oct. 6).
