DECORAH Iowa— The UW-Stevens Point softball team dropped by games of a double header at Luther College falling by scores of 10-0 (five innings) and 8-0 (6 innings) on Sunday Afternoon.

Luther's (23-1) Samantha Bratland struck out 10 batters through a 4.2 inning no-hitter to lead the Norse to a 10-0 win over UWSP (7-12) in the first game of the afternoon.
Luther jumped out to an early lead, scoring seven runs on four hits in the first inning. In the third, Miranda McKay hit a two RBI double to give Luther a 10-0 lead.
The Pointers reached base six times in the first game on five walks.
Amelia Heup (Milwaukee, WI/Lutheran) pitched 3.1 innings of relief for the Pointers.

Bailey Victoria had two RBI including home run in the fifth inning to lead Luther to a 8-0 victory taking the second game of the afternoon.
Victoria knocked in her first run of the afternoon as part of a three run third that gave Luther a 4-0 lead.
Averie Kanyuh pitched 3.1 innings and Maddie Durie (Appleton, WI/East) pitched 2.1 in relief. Bailey Sheehan and Paige Kitzing (Mount Pleasant, WI/J.J. Case) both singled for UWSP.
UWSP will return home to take on Thursday, April 7 taking on Wisconsin Lutheran in a double header. The first pitch of game one is scheduled for 3 pm.
