Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. - For the third year in a row and 12th time in program history, the UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team is headed to the Frozen Four, defeating top-ranked and host Adrian College 5-2 on Saturday evening at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Pointers will face SUNY Geneseo in the first game of the semifinals in Lake Placid, N.Y. on Friday, March 25 at Herb Brooks Arena. Faceoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. EST.
The host Bulldogs took the early lead in front of a sellout crowd, when Taylor McCloy scored his 12th goal of the season just 3:42 into the game.
Jono Davis (La Verne, CA) knotted the score at 1-1 just two minutes later, scoring on the power play off an
Eliot Grauer (Mukilteo, WA/Kamiak) feed.
McCloy tallied his second of the night with 50 seconds remaining, giving the Bulldogs a 2-1 lead after one.
Lawrence Cornellier (Machesney Park, IL/Harlem) tallied his 21st goal of the season just four minutes into the second, evening the score at 2-2.
Jacob Barber (Dardenne Prairie, MO) broke the tie with just 11 ticks remaining on the clock in the second period, putting the Pointers the 3-2 edge after two.
In the third, both teams had opportunities to score but stellar goaltending by
Max Milosek (Lapeer, MI) and Kevin Entmaa kept both teams scoreless.
With just under a minute remaining, Adrian pulled Entmaa for the extra attacker but Cornlellier took a neutral zone turnover and found the empty net, giving UWSP a 4-2 edge.
With Entmaa still pulled,
Kyle Sharkey (Moore, OK/Insight School of Kansas) scored off a Milosek assist with just seconds remaining, sealing the 5-2 victory for the Pointers.
Milosek made 40 saves on the night while Entmaa made 35, taking the first loss of his collegiate career in net (14-1-0).
