Alex Kromm (Penticton, BC) scored the game-winning goal with 14 seconds remaining to complete a two-goal comeback by the No. 3/4 UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team in a 4-3 win over No. 11/13 UW-River Falls on Saturday evening at K.B. Willett Arena.

B.J. Duffin (Red Deer, AB) in front of the net with just 14 seconds on the clock for UW-Stevens Point (13-4-1, 2-2-0 WIAC). UW-River Falls (11-4-3, 3-1-0 WIAC) had held a 3-1 lead after scoring twice in the first 4:05 of the final period before the Pointers scored the final three goals.

Stephan Beauvais (Shelby Township, MI) ignited the comeback with his third goal of the year at 5:59 of the final period on an unassisted tally. Fellow defenseman
Alex Brooks (Grand Rapids, MI) knotted the game at 3-3, scoring from near the right boards at 15:42, setting up Kromm's heroics.
UW-River Falls opened the scoring at 5:46 of the first period with a short-handed goal by Mike Dietrich but
Logan Lemirande (Janesville, WI) answered at 16:43 to tie the game at 1-1 from Beauvais. The score remained 1-1 through the second period until Danny Hamburg and Taylor Burden scored in the first 4:05 of the third to give the Falcons a 3-1 lead.
UW-Stevens Point outshot UW-River Falls 39-16. Sophomore goaltender
Max Milosek (Lapeer, MI) made 13 saves in his 10th victory of the season, while Tanner Milliron made 35 stops for UW-River Falls.
UW-Stevens Point will return to action on Wednesday Jan. 27, taking on Lake Forest (Ill.) before returning home on Jan. 30 for the seventh annual Put A Check To Cancer Night against the Forresters. Both games are at 7 p.m.
