The Falcons led 2-0 early in the second period after a power-play goal by Carina Randazzo and a short-handed goal by Dani Sibley. Lemirande quickly cut the Pointers' deficit in half, scoring on the power play from Kat Nejedlo (Fond du Lac, WI/Fond du Lac) a little over a minute after Sibley's goal.

Nearly eight minutes later, Biagini brought UW-Stevens Point level from Ellie Punnett (Hailey, ID/Athol Murray College of Notre Dame) heading to the third. Sibley scored her second of the game at 6:36 of the final period to put the Falcons ahead again prior to the late goal for each team.
