ST. PAUL, Minn. - A goal by Macalester's Jamie Hasama was the difference as the Scots defeated the UW-Stevens Point women's soccer team 1-0 on Saturday evening at Macalester Stadium.
Box ScoreThe Pointers' offense was stifled getting just one shot on goal, whereas the Scots tallied 17 shots total, six on goal.
Macalester earned its first win of the season with the win, improving to 1-0-1, while UW-Stevens Point drops to 1-2-0 with the loss.
Hasama, assisted by Lydia Chodosh, scored the lone goal at the 21:01 mark of the first half.
UW-Stevens Point returns to action on Sept. 9, visiting the University of Chicago at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field at 4 p.m.
