Heinrich Walder (Rosholt, WI/Rosholt) threw 2.2 innings of scoreless relief to help the 15th-ranked UW-Stevens Point baseball team to a split with Rowan University on Thursday evening at Lake Myrtle Park.

Kody McHugh (Mosinee, WI/Mosinee) scattered five hits and struck out four to earn the victory to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Mark Kowalke (Baraboo, WI/Baraboo) was the tough luck looser in game one, as the Pointers out-hit Rowan 10-7, but could not push any runs across against the Profs.
The No. 15 Pointers (6-3) closeout their spring trip on Friday, March 20 against the Oles of St. Olaf College. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST.
