The 55 shots were the most for the Pointers since the team had 56 in an 11-0 win over Finlandia in the opening game of the season back on Nov. 1, 2014.

The 22-save shutout was the 10th of Jaeger's UWSP career, as the senior improves to 15-3-0 this season. Jaeger's 15 wins tie him with Babson's Jamie Murray and UW-River Falls' Tanner Milliron for the most wins in the country this season.

Ladd got the Pointers on the board at 12:28 of the first period with his first goal since Jan. 10, scoring on a wraparound from Logan Lemirande (Janesville, WI) and Mark Bittner (Crookston, MN/Crookston). Ladd later scored UWSP's fifth goal, giving him his first multi-goal game since Dec. 6.

Sharkey doubled UW-Stevens Point's lead on the power play with 1:07 remaining in the first period from Kyle Brodie (Denver, CO/Northglenn) and Alex Brooks (Grand Rapids, MI), who earned his 50th career point. Brodie's assist was the first of three on the night.

Lemirande scored on the power play at 14:53 of the second period to make it 3-0. The junior later added an assist on Ladd's second of the night to give Lemirande 13 points in nine games this season.

Just 2:09 into the third period, Sharkey scored UWSP's third power-play goal of the night and the team's eighth power-play goal in the last six games to extend the Pointers' lead to 4-0. UW-Stevens Point was 3-for-4 with the man advantage in the game is 12-for-29 (41.3 percent) on the power play in the last six games.

Sharkey's second goal was also the 50th point of his collegiate career. Grauer scored UWSP's 24th goal in the last three games at 19:17 of the third period after being set up by Kevin Gibson (Grosse Pointe, MI/North) and Brodie.
