Just 47 seconds into the extra session, Cornellier latched onto a long pass that came off the boards and poked the puck past UW-Stout goaltender Chase Hollander to give UWSP its fifth-straight win. The win also completed a three-game regular-season sweep of the Blue Devils.
Kevin Gibson (Grosse Pointe, MI/North) and
Kyle Sharkey (Moore, OK/Insight School of Kansas) were credited assists on Cornellier's winner. The goal was the seventh of the season for the sophomore. The overtime win was the second of the season, as the Pointers also topped Saint Mary's by a 3-2 margin back on Nov. 15.

Kyle Brodie (Denver, CO/Northglenn) set up Kalisz's team-high 15th goal of the season.

Alex Brooks (Grand Rapids, MI) assisted Grauer's goal and Brooks' assist gives him at least one assist in six consecutive games.
