Cornellier scored his fifth goal of the season on the back door at 13:35 of the third period off assists from Alex Brooks (Grand Rapids, MI) and Alex Kromm (Penticton, BC) to put the Pointers ahead 2-1. However, the Bulldogs outshot the Pointers 18-6 in the third period and got two late goals from Boyd to win it late.

Nick D'Avolio (North Riverside, IL) opened the scoring with his second goal of the season at 2:01 of the first period, putting a shot through the five hole of Adrian goaltender Kevin Entmaa. D'Avolio's goal was assisted by Joe Kalisz (Davison, MI/Davison) and Josh Daley (Pittsburgh, PA/Bishop Canevin Catholic), who recorded his first point of the season.
