STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Power play goals from Kat Nejedlo and
Betsy Anderson (Farmington, MN/Farmington) helped lift the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team to a 3-0 victory on Saturday and a weekend series sweep of the Cobbers of Concordia-Moorhead.

Nicole Schaub (Vadnais Heights, MN/White Bear Lake).
Anderson notched her first goal of the season in the second stanza, scoring unassisted on a power play at the 13:53 mark of the period, giving UWSP the 2-0 lead.
In the third,
Megan Menotti (Vernon Hills, IL/Chicago Mission) tallied her second score of the season off assists from Nejedlo and
Emily Lester (Eau Claire, WI/Memorial), giving the Pointers the 3-0 lead and victory.
Nejedlo has tallied two points in all four of the Pointers games this season while Lester increased her season point total to nine (five goals, four assists), which leads the team.
Janna Beilke-Skoug (Madison, WI/East) went the distance, earning her first shutout of the season, stopping all 15 Cobber shots on target.
UW-Stevens Point (4-0-0) will open Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action next weekend, Nov. 14-15, at defending conference champion UW-River Falls . Action Friday is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. from W.H. Hunt Arena in River Falls.
