MENOMONIE - For every Pointer score, the Blue Devils of UW-Stout had an answer on Saturday evening as the host Blue Devils skated to a 6-3 victory over the Pointers in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) men's hockey action.

The Pointers held the lead three times in the game on Saturday evening, scoring the game's opening goal and took leads at the beginning of the second and midway through the second period, but UW-Stout tallied four unanswered goals to pull away for the 6-3 victory.

Russell Law (Bay City, MI/Shattuck (MN)) (Bay City, Mich.), Taylor Guay (Boulder, CO/Boulder) (Boulder, Colo.) and Tim Manthey (Anoka, MN/Anoka) (Anoka, Minn.) all scored for the Pointers while Sean Fish (Ramsey, MN/Anoka) (Ramsey, Minn.), Craig Dakins (Wisconsin Rapids/Culver) (Wisconsin Rapids), Law and Beckfield tallied assists on the evening.

The loss drops the Pointers to 13-7-2 overall, 4-6-1 in NCHA play while UW-Stout improves to 15-5-2, 7-2-2 in NCHA play
