STEVENS POINT - In their first action since Dec. 6, the UW-Stevens Point swimming and diving teams picked up wins against UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater at the UWSP Aquatics Center.
On the men's side, the Pointer men tallied a 209-82 victory over UW-Oshkosh and a 193-102 victory over UW-Whitewater. For the women, UWSP earned a 226-61 victory over Oshkosh and a 191-99 win over Whitewater.
On the women's side, the Pointers tallied first place finishes in 11 events, as Lindsay Lukes (Austin, Minn.), Abby Strobel (Neenah), Lisa Clemens (Wisconsin Dells), Jess Nordstrom (Hibbing, Minn.) and Whitney Boehme (Thiensville) each tallied three top three finishes on the day, helping the Pointers roll.
For the men, Matt Olp (Oregon) had four tip-four finishes on the day while Daniel Lynam (Fitchburg), Rob Donisch (Wheaton, Ill.) and Sam Davy (Stevens Point) each had three first-place finishes to lead the Pointers to 11 first-place finishes in their two victories.
