DE PERE - Kaylee Weise (Brookfield/East) (Brookfield/East) and Amanda Prawat (Oregon/Oregon) (Oregon) tallied two goals each and Vicki Bieschke (Oconomowoc/Waukesha Memorial) (Oconomowoc/Waukesha Memorial) and Mary Jean Cornelius (West Bend/West) (West Bend/West) added one goal each as the Pointers defeated the Green Knights of St. Norbert College 6-0 on Sunday afternoon.

The Pointers got on the board early, as Bieschke took an Emily Walsh (Waunakee/Waunakee) (Waunakee) pass and found the back of the net 1:33 into the game, giving UWSP a 1-0 lead. UWSP tallied two more goals near the end of the second half, as Prawat and Cornelius added goals in the 34th and 38th minutes, giving the Pointers a 3-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, it was all Pointers, as Prawat added her second goal of the game off an assist from Walsh, her second of the game, to give UWSP the 4-0 advantage. Weise added a pair of goals to go along with her assist from the first half, adding the game's fifth and sixth goals at 62:13 and 80:55, sealing the victory for the Pointers.

Pam Lucklow (Kaukauna) tallied four saves in goal for the Pointers as she notched her second shutout of the season.

UWSP out-shot the Green Knights 19-5 on the day and held a 20-2 advantage on corner kicks.

The Pointer (3-1) return home to face Edgewood College on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Pointer Soccer Bowl.
