PLATTEVILLE – Michelle Pascavis (Waukesha/South) (Waukesha/South) shot an eight over par 80 on the first day of the UW-Platteville Fall Invite on Saturday afternoon, aiding in the Pointers finishing day one in the lead, 18 strokes ahead of second place.
Pascavis shot a 41 on the front nine and a 39 on the back nine at the Platteville Country Club on her way to an 80.
UWSP's Jessica Urban (Hartland/Arrowhead) (Hartland/Arrowhead) finished second after the tournament's first day, posting an 86, tied with Nacheynah Green (Poynette/) (Poynette) and Amanda Dlugopolski (Appleton/East) (Appleton/East). Danelle Olson (Detroit Lakes, MN/Detroit Lakes) (Detroit Lakes, Minn.) currently sits tied for 11th with a 92.
The Pointers conclude the invite Sunday, Sept. 7.
