WHITEWATER, Wis. –UW-Stevens Point's Kaylee Weise (Brookfield/East) (Brookfield/East) took six shots at UW-Whitewater's goal on Saturday afternoon and netted herself three goals as the Pointers extended their win streak to seven, defeating the Warhawks 3-0.

Weise tallied two goals in the first half, one at 23:22 and one at 25:33, giving the Pointers a 2-0 advantage in the game's opening stanza. The second of Weise's goals was assisted by fellow senior Emily Walsh (Waunakee/Waunakee) (Waunakee). Weise struck again with 3:15 remaining in the game, putting UWSP ahead by the final of 3-0.

It was the fifth shutout of the season for the Pointers, who also improved to 2-0 in the WIAC. In their last seven victories, the Pointers have outscored their opponents 29-3.

UWSP returns to action next Saturday, Sept. 27 when they travel to Wheaton, Ill. to face the Thunder of Wheaton College, ranked 10th in last week's National Soccer Coaches Association/adidas National Rankings. UWW will travel to Carroll University on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for a 6 p.m. match-up with the Pioneers.
