EAU CLAIRE – The UWSP women's golf team opened the 2008 season with a fourth place finish at the Eau Claire Fall Invite at Mill Run Golf Course as two Pointers finished in the top-10, and all five finished in the top 75.

As a team, the Pointers shot a 666 over the two-day tournament, including Michelle Pascavis (Waukesha/South)' (So., Waukesha/South) 160 (+15), which tied her for fifth. Jessica Urban (Hartland/Arrowhead) (Jr., Heartland/Arrowhead) finished +16, tying her for seventh.

Rounding out the finishers for the Pointers, Danielle Olson (Fr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) finished tied for 27th with a +26, Nacheynah Green (Poynette/) (Fr., Poynette) finished with a +29, tied for 43rd and Amanda Dlugopolski (Appleton/East) (Sr., Appleton/East) finished +37, tied for 75th.

UWSP returns to action on Sept. 6-7 at the UW-Platteville Invitational at the Platteville Country Club.
