LA CROSSE – The UW-Stevens Point women's track and field team competed at the UW-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier Thursday night.

Liz Caine (Jr.-Plover/SPASH) ran her fastest time of the season in the 100-meter dash at 12.05 seconds. The time is tied for the sixth fastest in NCAA Division III this season. Caine also had the fastest time of the night in the 200-meter dash at 25.09 seconds. Even though it wasn't its fastest time of the season, the 4x100-meter relay team met a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time, finishing in 47.96 seconds.

The Pointers will be at the North Central Last Chance Meet tomorrow. Events begin at 3 p.m.
