OSHKOSH - Abby Ausloos (Plymouth/Plymouth) placed seventh, leading the way for the Pointers as the women's cross country team closed out their regular season at the UW-Oshkosh Cross Country Open on Friday. No team scores were kept at the event.

Elsewhere, Brittney Dantanni (Green Bay) finished 13th and Joyce Kleiman (Kewaunee, WI/Kewaunee) finished 14th. Tara Whiting (McFarland/McFarland) (McFarland), Amanda Roswell (Eleva/Memorial) (Eleva) and Zoe Bitner (Menasha/Menasha) finished 28th through 30th, Kristen Johnson (Weyauwega) finished 32nd and Megan Webb (Fredonia/Northern Ozaukee) (Fredonia) finished 36th in the 37 runner field.

UW-Stevens Point returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 as the Pointers host the 31st running of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championships at the Wisconsin River Golf Club. The race is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
